Cancellation / prepayment

To secure your booking we require card details, some rates require a payment in advance and are non-refundable. We have a 48 hour free cancellation policy on non-refundable rates.

Children & Beds

Subject to availability and room type we provide additional beds and cots for children under 18 and infants. Cots are free of charge and beds are £20 each this includes breakfast for your child.

Pets

All pets must be under the supervision of their owner. £20 per stay covers basic cleaning. In the event of damage to the room this will be charged on a case by case basis.

Cards Accepted

We accept all major credit & debit cards. Unfortunately, we are unable to take payment by Amex.

"Stayed in October 2019. The George Townhouse is excellent with a lovely pub/restaurant downstairs and well-appointed rooms on 2 further floors. The room had a very comfortable bed, with great tea-making facilities and a fantastic shower room, there is also a period bath in the bedroom. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection. Very good value for money, I would like to thank the team for accommodating my wife and myself at short notice, due to our original booking at a pub less than 50 yards away was totally unacceptable. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is attractively decorated as was our room. We had booked a Cosy room and were given number 5 but it was fairly spacious - certainly not cramped although only hangers-on hooks on the wall- no wardrobe but not an issue for our short stay. The bathroom was actually very large with a powerful rain shower over the bath. "
